Augusta National Golf Club is the only authorized ticket source.

No refunds, rain checks, exchanges or replacements will be made if the course is closed because of adverse weather conditions or for other safety reasons.

Practice Rounds

Practice Rounds tickets are limited and sold in advance by application only. Applicants are allocated tickets on a random selection basis. Application requests cannot be submitted online.

2009 Practice Rounds applications will be mailed in June to those people who applied in 2002 and/or 2008 or who have subsequently requested Practice Rounds information. The deadline for 2009 applicants is July 15, 2008. Successful applicants will be notified in September. Unsuccessful applicants will not be notified.

Tournament Tickets

Tournament or "Series" Badges (Thursday through Sunday) have been sold to those on the patron list, which was closed due to demand in 1972. A waiting list began in 1972, and was closed in 1978. It reopened in 2000, and it too is now closed. No applications for "Series" Badges are currently being accepted.

Junior Tickets

- Children ages 8-16 can attend free when accompanied by an accredited patron (the individual whose name appears on the series badge application) on tournament days. One child per patron.

- No other bearer of a series badge other than the accredited Patron will have this privilege.

- The junior program does not apply to volunteers, employees or business partners who receive or purchase series badges.

- Juniors need not be related to the accredited patron to attend.

- Juniors must register at the ticket gate and the patron must provide a driver's license.

- A complimentary pass will be issued to the junior, and the pass is not transferable.

- A complimentary pass will be issued to the Junior. The Pass is not transferable, and re-entry to the grounds will not be allowed if the Junior leaves the grounds.

- This program will not be available on Practice Round days.

Cell phones, Cameras and Electronic Devices
Cell phones, beepers and other electronic devices are strictly prohibited on the grounds at all times. Cameras are strictly prohibited on Tournament days. Anyone violating this policy will be subject to removal from the grounds and the permanent loss of credentials (tickets).

Food & Drinks
No coolers or containers of any type in which beverages can be carried are allowed on the course. Checkstands are located next to the parking lots at the entrance gates. Fans who bring their lunch may check them without charge. Picnic grounds are near Gate 10 and at the end of the patrons' corridor, near the main entrance. Concessions must be purchased with cash. Here are some prices at Augusta National:

• Beverages: $1

• Beer: $2 (Not available on the main course after 4 p.m.)

Autographs
There is a no-autograph policy on the golf course. Autographs will be allowed only on the parking lot side of the clubhouse.

• Polo shirts - $59 and up (Bobby Jones brand most expensive)

Parking
In 2008, Augusta National Golf Club added 2,500 spaces in a new parking lot between Stanley Drive and Berckmans Road. The parking spaces will be available free Monday-Wednesday on a first-come basis. During tournament days (Thursday-Sunday), patrons must have a parking pass to enter the new lot and the existing lots at Gates 5 and 10.

Pro-Shop
Only those with proper credentials will be allowed in the pro shop. Souvenirs may be purchased from stands on the grounds.

Masters merchandise can only be purchased from one of the the main golf shop at Augusta National Golf Club and it can only be purchased during the Masters tournament. For those who don't have a Masters badge, purchases can be made at smaller shops at the entrance to Gate 6 and Gate 9 on Berckmans Road and Gate 3A on Washington Road.

Best Spots

Hole 4: Spectators can view action on two holes while behind the No. 4 tee. There are views of the approach to the No. 3 green and the tee shot on the par-3 No. 4.

Hole 7: Behind the green, spectators can see down the No. 2 and No. 3 fairways, the No. 7 green, the No. 8 tee and the No. 17 fairway. Hole 12: In the heart of Amen Corner, spectators behind the tee can see the approach shots to No. 11, the entire 12th hole, and tee shots and second shots on the par-5 No. 13.

Hole 16: A new viewing area (above) was created here thanks to a storm in July 2006 that took down several trees. The natural seating area allows patrons to see the green at Nos. 6, 15 and 16 and the tee shot at No. 17.

Hole 18: If you get a spot early behind the No. 18 green, you can see approach shots to the final green and have a view of several other holes.

Putting green: You can watch as golfers prepare for their round.

Practice tee: Seating is available in the bleachers behind the tee. It is standing room only to the right of the tee. A chipping area, on the other side of Magnolia Lane, is also open to spectators.

Searching
A legend of who is on the course is posted, with starting time, at the No. 1 and No. 10 tees during practice rounds. Give each group approximately two hours to complete nine holes. A "program'' sheet is made up each day during the tournament.
