What are the dates for the 2009 Masters?

The 2009 tournament will be played during the week of Monday, April 6 through Sunday, April 12.

Can I play a round of golf at Augusta National or can I go see the course?

The Augusta National Golf Club is a private club and is only accessible to club members and their guests. The public can see the course only during the Masters tournament with the appropriate ticket/badge.

How can I get Masters tickets?

Practice Rounds

Practice Rounds tickets are limited and sold in advance by application only. Applicants are allocated tickets on a random selection basis. Application requests cannot be submitted online.

2009 Practice Rounds applications will be mailed in June to those people who applied in 2007 and/or 2008 or who have subsequently requested Practice Rounds information. The deadline for 2009 applicants is July 15, 2008. Successful applicants will be notified in September. Unsuccessful applicants will not be notified.

If you are not on the Practice Rounds mailing list, and would like to be added for 2009, please send your name, address, daytime telephone number, email address and Social Security Number no later than May 1, 2008 to:

Tournament Tickets

Tournament or "Series" Badges (Thursday through Sunday) have been sold to those on the patron list, which was closed due to demand in 1972. A waiting list began in 1972, and was closed in 1978. It reopened in 2000, and it too is now closed. No applications for "Series" Badges are currently being accepted.

Junior Tickets

- Children ages 8-16 can attend free when accompanied by an accredited patron (the individual whose name appears on the series badge application) on tournament days. One child per patron.

- No other bearer of a series badge other than the accredited Patron will have this privilege.

- The junior program does not apply to volunteers, employees or business partners who receive or purchase series badges.

- Juniors need not be related to the accredited patron to attend.

- Juniors must register at the ticket gate and the patron must provide a driver's license.

- A complimentary pass will be issued to the junior, and the pass is not transferable.

- A complimentary pass will be issued to the Junior. The Pass is not transferable, and re-entry to the grounds will not be allowed if the Junior leaves the grounds.

- This program will not be available on Practice Round days.

When will my practice round tickets arrive?

Practice round tickets and tournament badges are mailed out about five weeks prior to the start of the tournament.

How can I become a member of Augusta National Golf Club?

Membership at Augusta National Golf Club is by invitation only. There is no application process.

Where can I purchase Masters merchandise?

Masters merchandise can only be purchased from one of the main golf shop at Augusta National Golf Club and it can only be purchased during the Masters tournament. For those who don't have a Masters badge, purchases can be made at smaller shops at the entrance to Gate 6 and Gate 9 on Berckmans Road and Gate 3A on Washington Road.

What is the name of the music that CBS uses during Masters Tournament coverage?

Dave Loggins wrote the original score for CBS's coverage of the Masters in 1981. It was re-released by Leeds Music/Patchwork Music ASCAP in 1996 by Don Cherry. The name of the work is "Augusta."

Can I have the recipe for the Pimento Cheese spread?

Augusta National keeps the recipe for the pimento cheese spread a secret.

Where can I park?

In 2008, Augusta National Golf Club added 2,500 spaces in a new parking lot between Stanley Drive and Berckmans Road. The parking spaces will be available free Monday-Wednesday on a first-come basis. During tournament days (Thursday-Sunday), patrons must have a parking pass to enter the new lot and the existing lots at Gates 5 and 10.
